Meet John

Hmm… who ever said that knitting was ‘women’s work’ haven’t met John. He has been spending his lunch hour with us lately working on Fair Isle socks and baby booties to match. Take a look at the completed sock on the table. Oh, he actually PREFERS the Kitchner for finishing his toes. Actually, John hasn’t been the ONLY manly-man that has frequented our establishment, another gentleman was a frequent visitor while he was on assignment; he was creating his OWN Fair Isle sweater. Talk about beautiful, even stitches, both men’s work could easily be assumed to have come from a knitting machine.

Bonlyn’s sweater is coming along. Once the sleeves are finished, it will be quickly put together. Actually, it has become more of a coat than a sweater, since it was started about 40 pounds ago. That’s life.
